Patternmaking & Grading
Patternmaking & grading are the core services we offer. We use the EU favourite Grafis CAD for pattern development, grading, and lay marking. Combined with CLO3D for 3D visualisation, we’re able to render accurate simulations of your garments on digital body forms. We combine those fantastic tools with professional fittings on body forms by the world’s leader in tailor’s mannequins, and digital bodies for apparel design, Alvanon.
All of the body forms and grade standards we use have been derived from physical measurement data. We can assist you to find your perfect fit.
Patternmaking & Grading

New software and tools are helping our industry recognize the efficiencies accrued over the long term, and helping to reduce physical protoyping and fabric waste during the development process. We use CLO3D to simulate and render real patterns with accurate fabric physics. We can even have specialty fabrics digitised and imported for technical garments like wetsuits.
3D samples allow for fast and accurate pattern testing before moving into physical samples and fittings.

Digitizing Patterns and Digital File Transfer
If you are making paper cardboard patterns and need them to be graded, we can assist by re-creating your pattern in digital form and grading the sizes you need. The graded files can be exported as a PDF or DXF, ready to be printed and cut.
